Fit Bodies Inc.
30 years of operation. Word-of-mouth growth. Zero brand investment. One year to fix all of it.
Fit Bodies Inc. had been running fitness retreats, teaching vacations, and resort programs for three decades without a single brand audit. The logo was clip art. The systems were outdated. The booking site and the main site lived on two different URLs. The sales department was informal at best. The company had real equity — genuine expertise, established resort partnerships, a loyal customer base — but nothing in the brand communicated it. The engagement covered everything: user research, brand identity, systems migration, sales infrastructure, content production, and web redesign. All manual. All pre-AI.

Clip art logo. Split URLs. No sales system. A 30-year-old company that looked like it launched in 2003.
The original Fit Bodies logo was a tangled clip-art figure in primary colors — the kind of mark that communicates nothing about the premium resort experience the company actually delivers. The tagline "Resorts | Retreats | Fit Pro Vacations" was descriptive but flat. The visual system had no coherence across channels. Worse, the booking infrastructure was fragmented. Main site and booking engine on separate domains, breaking the user journey at the most critical conversion point. CRM was outdated. Project management didn't exist. There was no sales presentation, no collateral, no consistent brand voice.
Research first. Every decision downstream grounded in empirical user data — not instinct.
- 1. UX Research
Qualitative and quantitative user research. Persona development grounded in real behavioral data. Competitive audit across fitness travel and resort categories.
- 2. Brand Identity
New logo developed from persona insights. Full brand kit: color palette, typography, iconography, visual language. Tagline: "Travel. Teach. Save." — developed in collaboration with the client.
- 3. Systems Migration
Outdated CRM replaced. Team moved onto Asana for project management. Booking and main site unified under a single URL structure. Email automation set up for the first time.
- 4. Sales Infrastructure
Sales department built from scratch. PowerPoint sales presentations produced. Programming walkthrough videos. Merchandise mockups. Social media content and evergreen brand assets.
- 5. Web & UX
Full site redesign with wireframes for a unified dashboard — logged-in and non-logged-in experiences designed separately. Onboarding video overlay integrated into the booking flow.
- 6. Content Production
Sales videos, programming walkthrough videos, brand photography direction, social media content — all produced manually before AI tools existed for this kind of output volume.
Higher annual bookings. More resort partners. A brand that finally matches the product.
Over the course of the engagement, Fit Bodies partnered with additional resorts, saw higher annual booking volume, and had a significantly elevated user experience across every customer touchpoint. A company that had coasted on word-of-mouth for 30 years now had the brand infrastructure to grow intentionally.
